Interesting story: this painting is named after an Asian/American woman who came to talk to me while I was on the Carmel coast painting it. After a long talk it turns out she had seen my sculptures in a gallery many years ago. 
She'd asked about the artist but was told, a) nothing about me, and, b) "You couldn't afford him!" (Thank God I got out of that stupid gallery!) She says she returned for years after that looking for more of my art, but never found anything. Then, one day she was walking by the sea, when...
